Exciting Job Opportunity with the Equity and Inclusion Campaign

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

The Board of Directors of the Equity and Inclusion Campaign is pleased to announce its recruitment of a dynamic leader to serve as its Executive Director.  Please help us to locate and encourage well-qualified candidates to apply. Applicants should send a one-page cover letter and resume to info@equityandinclusion.org. No calls, please. The Campaign unites and mobilizes nonprofit leaders, community organizers, and activists who represent low-income and vulnerable communities across the Gulf Coast region. Our mission is to engage these members in key federal level advocacy efforts during the ongoing - and still critical - post-storm recovery. The Equity and Inclusion Campaign was incubated by the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation and is now an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization. Please read more about the Campaign below.

While the challenges we face remain steep, we are also energized by the possibilities ahead of us. The Campaign Executive Director position offers tremendous potential to lead our membership and the Gulf Coast communities they represent to achieve great strides forward and lasting results. We seek candidates who possess strong strategic and policy skills with successful track records in fundraising, membership expansion, and organizational development. Other key assets include a commitment to social justice, a team-oriented approach, and deep understanding of the challenges facing the region and the Campaign's constituents.

A detailed job description is provided below and can also be viewed in the Employment Opportunities section of equityandinclusion.org.

With warm regards,
E&I Campaign Board -- Irene, Monika, Dominique, Sharon, Mary, Jackie and Ashley
